Groundskeeper
Department: Maintenance
Reports To: Facilities Manager
JOB SUMMARY
The Groundskeeper keeps the property clean, safe, and well-kept. This includes outdoor areas and some indoor spaces. The job helps create a pleasant place for guests, residents, and staff.
Pay: $300 BZD per week, paid every two weeks.
MAIN DUTIES
Pick up trash, rake leaves, and empty garbage bins.
Rake gravel on driveways and walkways to keep them neat.
Cut grass and care for lawn areas.
Spray the grounds to reduce mosquitoes and control weeds.
Take care of gardens by cleaning, weeding, planting, and watering.
Sweep and mop assigned buildings, including gyms and shared areas.
Clean pool and gym areas and remove trash.
Help with other maintenance or grounds tasks as needed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Be responsible, reliable, and honest.
Work well with others as part of a team.
Experience in groundskeeping or maintenance is preferred but not required.
Willing to follow company rules and do different tasks.
Basic English skills required; bilingual skills are a plus.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
Work outside in different weather conditions.
Stand, walk, bend, and kneel for long periods.
SCHEDULE AND PAY
Up to 45 hours per week, with flexible scheduling.
Overtime pay for hours over 45 per week.
Holiday pay according to Belize labor laws.
