Grand Baymen is looking for a friendly and reliable Front Desk Agent to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, helping guests feel welcome, and handling daily front desk duties in a professional and positive manner.

As a Front Desk Agent, you will be one of the first people our guests meet, so a pleasant attitude, good communication, and a willingness to learn are very important. 

Main Duties and Responsibilities 

• Welcome guests in a polite and friendly manner.

• Check guests in and out of the property.

• Answer phone calls, messages, and reservation inquiries.

• Assist guests with questions, directions, and activity recommendations.

• Handle reservations and update booking information.

• Collect payments and record daily sales.

• Inspect rooms before guest arrival and after departure.

• Update information on online booking platforms.

• Keep the front desk area organized and professional.

• Assist management with other front desk–related duties when needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma.

• Ability to speak and understand English clearly as well as write with proficiency and clarity.

• Friendly, respectful, and professional attitude.

• Ability to work well with guests and coworkers.

• Superior reading, writing, and verbal skills, and basic math skills.

• Ability to master computer and reservation systems.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 

• Honesty, dependability, and punctuality.

Preferred (But Not Required)

• Previous experience in customer service, hotel, or front desk work.

• Ability to speak another language (Spanish is a plus).

• Familiarity with the local area and attractions.

• Comfortable handling cash and payments.

Work Schedule

• Must be willing to work shifts, including weekends and holidays as scheduled. 

Compensation & Benefits 

• BZD $350 per week, based on a 45-hour work week.

• Pay is negotiable depending on experience.

• Overtime paid for hours worked beyond 45 hours per week.

• Holiday pay provided according to Belize labor laws.

• Two weeks of paid vacation leave prorated and available after one year of employment.
