Join our team at Grand Balisi, a stunning over-the-water property in San Pedro, Belize. We're looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team and ensure every guest enjoys an exceptional, spotless stay.
About the Job
We are looking for a responsible and hard-working person to lead our housekeeping team at Grand Balisi, a beautiful over-the-water hotel in San Pedro.
You will make sure the hotel is always clean, neat, and ready for guests.
Your Main Duties
Leading the Team
Guide and support the housekeeping staff every day
Make sure all rooms and common areas are cleaned to a high standard
Help train new team members
Cleaning & Room Care
Make sure rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and outdoor areas are always clean
Check that everything is ready before guests arrive
Help the team when needed
Laundry
Oversee washing and ironing of bed sheets, towels, and other linens
Make sure laundry is done on time and to a high standard
Supplies
Keep track of cleaning products and supplies
Let management know when it's time to order more
Guest Requests
Respond quickly to any cleaning requests from guests
Solve any problems in rooms or common areas fast
Safety & Standards
Make sure the team follows all health and safety rules
Use and ensure proper use of protective equipment
Always keep a safe working environment
What We Need From You
Experience in housekeeping, preferably in a hotel or resort
Ability to lead and motivate a team
Good attention to detail
Able to communicate clearly in English (Spanish is a plus)
Reliable, professional, and a team player
Able to work shifts, including weekends and holidays
